Product descriptions
Spirulina algae is a rich source of vitamins, proteins and amino acids. Spirulina is a modern superfood, a natural spiral-shaped blue-green algae. Harvested from breeding ponds, spirulina is a microscopic plant grown on an island in the South China Sea. Spirulina is dried by a natural pulverization process to make spirulina powder. This process helps to preserve the nutrient content. 10 kg of fresh algae can be used to make 1 kg of powder.
Spirulina algae, well known for its high antioxidant content, are found in natural living waters, but are also successfully cultivated in artificial conditions, as the plant reproduces itself through photosynthesis.
No other plant is so rich in micronutrients: the algae contain a wide range of vitamins and minerals.
Spirulina does not have a strong cell membrane, so it is easy for our bodies to get the vital compounds it contains. It is extremely rich in proteins, which contain all eight essential amino acids that our body cannot produce on its own. What makes it popular with athletes is its high vitamin and protein content. It contains more vitamin B1 than cow's milk and plays an important role in the absorption of vitamins A, B2, B6, magnesium, iron and chromium.
Spirulina is an effective detoxifier, carrying with it the healing powers of the sea, which is why it has long been at the top of the health charts.
