Product descriptions
A very fine essence made from special hand-picked rose petal oil. It is widely used as a fragrance and cleanser for delicate areas such as the delicate skin around the eyes. It also has a unique toning effect on the skin of the face. Rose oil has long been used in the perfume and cosmetics industries, but it is also known for its medicinal properties, as it can be used to relieve cramps, stomach upsets and liver and gall bladder complaints. Externally, it is used as a poultice to relieve the symptoms of pleurisy and to treat skin and lip sores. Rose oil is also used in aromatherapy, now in its heyday, as it is beneficial for the body's overworked mental and physical state. It relieves spasms, relaxes nervous tonic muscles, helps sleep disorders and improves the mood of depressed people. It is used in particular in oriental cuisine to flavour dishes, drinks and desserts, but it is also becoming fashionable in Europe, where it is used mainly to flavour lemonades.
