Already the ancient Greeks attributed several magical, e.g. ghost-working effects to bell-grass (Hypericum perforatum). Its popular name refers to the fact that its yellow petals turn red when crushed. It flowers around the day of the beheading of St John the Baptist (24 June). It is native to Eurasia, but is also established on other continents. It is a perennial herb with woody stems. Its small, elongated leaves have translucent oil glands and it produces yellow flowers in umbels in early summer.

Active constituents: ethereal oil, including cariophyllene, pinene, limonene and myrcene; hypericin, flavonoids, resin
Effects: sedative, anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic
Uses: internally for the treatment of irritability and mild anxiety (especially when associated with depression), externally for the treatment of wounds and burns.
The preparation is a cold-pressed oily extract of the herb in capsules, prepared with sesame oil. The advantage of the oil extract is that it does not burden the stomach, it is more easily absorbed and the cold-pressed oil component contains unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid) which are essential for the body but are in short supply in the modern diet.
Suggested use:
- 1-2×1 capsules per day are recommended to improve well-being and maintain mood.
- It is not recommended to exceed 2×2 capsules per day for a stronger effect.
Contents of the bottle 60 capsules of size "0" DR intestine-soluble capsules with 600 mg of natural beeswax stabilized with 20 mg of natural beeswax. Consumers sensitive to bee products are advised of this fact.
