Product descriptions

The most essential ingredient in the product is a proprietary raw chicken starch ingredient called UC-II®.

In contrast to other cartilage extracts/collagens, it contains type II collagens in a so-called non-denatured (raw) form, stabilised so that they cannot be denatured or digested in the digestive tract. In its unaltered (raw) form, it can reach the lymph nodes in our small intestine, the so-called Peyer's plaques.

UC-II® has been used in several clinical trials with great success at a dose of 40 mg. It also contains another chicken bone cartilage extract patented under the name Chondractiv®. This contains partially hydrolysed (pre-digested) type II collagens, but also contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin and other aminoglycans, among others, as part of the natural extra-cellular matrix of chicken cartilage, so they are not comparable to isolated hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate bases. We also include silicon from organic bamboo shoots, vitamin C and Curcugreen® full spectrum turmeric extract, which has been clinically proven to be at least seven times more bioavailable than even turmeric extracts containing 95% curcumin.
