Bulgur is a popular cereal in Turkey and the Middle East
The unripe grain of wheat, which is pre-cooked or steamed for a short time and then dried in the sun.
In many Eastern countries, it is eaten as a side dish or as a base ingredient in various dishes.

Suggested use:
Put 1 cup of bulgur in a bowl, add two cups of hot water, stir and leave to steep for about 20 minutes until swollen. Season with salt, pepper, spices and herbs to taste. Serve as a side dish, with salads, stews, soups and desserts.
