However, if a larger area of skin is affected, dilute some skin care oil with 2-3 drops of tea tree essential oil. Cold pressed Herby's almond, rosehip oil can be excellent for this.
Because of its antifungal properties, you can also use tea tree essential oil in foot bath water for toenail fungus, athlete's foot and superinfected skin: drop 10-20 drops of tea tree essential oil on a tablespoon of salt, then mix in 2-3 litres of lukewarm water.Soak feet for 15 minutes and then dry, if done in bright sunshine this positive environment can also boost healing.
