Herby's Cinnamon Oil is a 100% natural, undiluted essential oil made from cassia cinnamon by steam distillation. Cinnamon essential oil will make your home smell pleasant at any time of the year, but at Christmas and during the winter months it is an essential accessory for almost every home. To vaporise cinnamon essential oil, drop a few drops of essential oil into a properly prepared aroma lamp or diffuser, e.g.: 1 drop of cinnamon oil + 2 drops of citrus essential oil (lemon, orange, sweet orange or mandarin). The warm, spicy fragrance of the essential oil will instantly make you feel cosy and joyful, and is also a great air freshener and air purifier. The latter effect can also be helpful during cold and flu season. If the cold, winter air has left you feeling cold, a cinnamon essential oil bath is a quick way to warm up, refresh and relax. For the bath, cinnamon essential oil can be used on its own or mixed with other essential oils. Add a maximum of 2 drops of essential oil (or 2 drops of essential oil blend: 1 drop of cinnamon + 1 drop of orange, sweet orange or mandarin essential oil) to the bath water. For cellulite and stretch marks, we recommend the following mixture: 1 drop of cinnamon essential oil + 6 drops of lemon, orange or sweet orange essential oil in 25 ml of carrier oil (e.g. argan or almond oil) and apply about 10 drops to the skin area in question, morning and evening. You can enhance the warming, blood-clotting effect by rubbing the essential oil mixture into the skin with a soft brush or a clean cloth before massaging it into the skin, thus stimulating the blood circulation in the area. A mixture of 2 drops of cinnamon essential oil in 25 ml of carrier oil (e.g. argan or almond oil) and gently massage about 8 drops of this mixture clockwise into the sore area. Cinnamon essential oil can also help to tone oily, acne-prone skin, refresh tired skin and reduce fine lines. To do this, apply a few drops of a mixture of 2 drops of cinnamon essential oil + 25 ml of a carrier oil (e.g. argan or almond oil).
