Swedesdown has been used for a very long time in folk medicine to treat many problems. It has been used for a number of conditions, including gastrointestinal complaints, rheumatic pain and arthritis, respiratory and urinary tract infections.
Swedesbane contains concentrated alcoholic extracts of 40 herbs. Its active ingredients stimulate the metabolism, improve digestion, detoxify and purify the body, reduce inflammation and help to kill harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi. They support the normal functioning of the immune system and have a beneficial effect on well-being and stamina.
Internally, they are recommended mainly for digestive problems, frequent bloating, flatulence, loss of appetite and bile disorders. Externally, it can also be used as a poultice and as a rubbing agent, and can greatly reduce joint, rheumatic and muscular pains. It can also be used for disinfection, insect bites, toothache, burns and frostbite.
Due to its alcohol content, it is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. External use in children over 6 years of age may be under parental supervision.
