VIZIK Moisturising Eye Drops form a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic and transparent protective film on the cornea. This is mainly provided by sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, which, due to its special physical properties, forms a uniform, stable and particularly long-lasting protective film on the cornea without affecting visual performance. To support the formation of a lubricating and protective film on the cornea and conjunctiva, the product also contains carbomer. Together with hyaluronic acid, this ideally compensates for the lack of tear fluid. It thus provides long-lasting relief for complaints such as
- mechanical stress such as wearing hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic procedures on the eye,
- environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, e.g. from cigarette smoke, or
- eye strain, e.g.: computer screens, working in front of a microscope, and long car journeys.
Due to its preservative-free nature, Vizik Moisturising Eye Drops are very well tolerated even for long-term use and are also recommended for contact lens wearers. Contact lenses should not be removed before using Vizik Moisturising Eye Drops.
Application:
To open the bottle, completely remove the safety ring by pulling the preformed tab (1). Then lift the cap (2) by pulling upwards. Tilt your head slightly back, look up and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye. Hold the bottle so that the dropper opening is facing downwards and, using firm, sustained pressure on the bottle, drop 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day (3 + 4). Close your eyes slowly to allow the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye. Do not touch the eye with the dropper opening or with your hands during application. Any droplets still in the dropper opening should be removed by gently tapping the bottom of the bottle. Then put the cap back on the bottle by applying slight pressure (5). If your symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult an ophthalmologist.
Because of the special sterile air filtering system of the bottle, it is necessary to allow a few seconds after each use without applying pressure to the bottle to allow sufficient air to flow in again. Without this waiting time, further use is difficult. In addition, for physical reasons, a slightly higher pressure is required at dripping, when the bottle is beginning to empty.
