Product descriptions
The first-aid drop, also known as an emergency drop, life-saving drop or rescue remedy, is a preparation consisting of five flower essences, which is recommended for use in all cases where there is no time to examine and analyse mental states, but when it is necessary to eliminate the unpleasant symptoms that have arisen. The mixture was formulated by Edward Bach himself and used specifically for acute situations. As its name suggests, it is recommended primarily for use in emergencies and in cases of sudden physical or psychological trauma. It is very effective in the following cases, among others:
Physical trauma:
- Accidents, after trauma caused by accidents
- Post-operative recovery
- Sudden onset of pain, headache, toothache
- To relieve menstrual pain, cramps
- Sudden onset of illness, allergic attacks
- Externally (compresses): to relieve the effects of wounds, swellings, stings
Mental trauma:
- Mental shock (break-up, death, bad news, traumatic experiences)
- Fright
- High stress, intense fears
- After big family fights
As a preventive measure:
- In case of exam nerves
- Before a job interview
- Fear of dentist, fear of flying
Application:
First Aid Drops are not an all-round cure-all, due to their intended use they are only recommended for short-term use. The frequency of use depends on the condition of the patient. In case of severe shock or severe pain, it can be taken every 15 minutes. It can be taken in small sips by adding 3-4 drops to a glass (about 2-3 dl of water). Repeat until the condition improves. If water is not available, you can also take it directly on the tongue. As a preventive measure (e.g. before an exam), it is recommended to take four times a day. In the case of serious accidents or injuries, it is not a substitute for a thorough medical examination or other medical intervention.
First Aid Drops can also be used as an ingredient in essence mixtures, and are particularly effective at the beginning of therapy when the person is so blocked that they are unable to talk about their problems.
We do not use the first aid drops all the time, but we do not know when we will need them. It is therefore advisable to keep the concentrated (base essence) version at home instead of the diluted one, which has a shelf life of five years. The diluted form is better than the concentrated form in terms of effectiveness, but if the problem comes on suddenly, sometimes we don't have time to bother with dilution. In this case, it's a good idea to put a few drops in a glass of water and sip it throughout the day. Alternatively, put a few drops (5-6) in a litre and a half of mineral water and take it with you wherever you go.
The first aid drops contain the following five flower essences:
- Sunflower: to prevent or relieve over-excitement and panic
- Cherry plum: fear of losing control, uncontrollable physical symptoms: also to prevent or relieve shaking from sweating
- Istrich: helps to stay in the present, effective against fainting, fright
- Calendula: to prevent or relieve excessive urges to act, agitation, impatience
- Bird's milk of parsnip: to help process physical or psychological trauma
