Product descriptions
A fast-paced lifestyle can often go hand in hand with a slowing down of bowel function, for example due to a one-sided diet (low in fibre, fruit and vegetables), daily stress, little time for rest and recuperation, certain life situations (taking medication, bedridden, etc.), food sensitivities.
Our Gluten-Free Fibre Complex is recommended to maintain normal bowel function, to ensure adequate stool quantity, to balance the beneficial micro-organisms in the gut and for certain digestive complaints (e.g. constipation caused by a sedentary lifestyle). Inulin fibre is a complex carbohydrate, insoluble and indigestible, which helps the growth and multiplication of beneficial bacteria in the large intestine.
Key properties of fibre:
- They have virtually negligible nutritional value, yet they play an important role in the digestive process.
- digestible fibres (fruits, pulses, seeds, legumes) swell in a watery medium and absorb excess water from the intestines, softening the stool.
- indigestible fibre (e.g. in cereal grains) binds water but does not swell, so it is important in increasing bowel motility.
- In our country, the average daily dietary intake of fibre is only half the recommended amount (about 30 g).
- According to nutritional recommendations, regular daily fibre intake may be necessary to maintain adequate blood glucose levels, normal cholesterol levels and, among other things, to maintain the correct consistency of stools.
Our fibre complex:
- 4.3g dietary fibre per serving
- contains both water-soluble and insoluble fibre
- natural, unflavoured powder mix, which you can mix into juice, tea, muesli, yoghurt, etc.
Ingredients. inulin, acacia gum, Amorphophallus konjac root extract (95% glucomannan), gluten-free oat fibre, bamboo fibre.
Suggested intake: 5g (1 scoop) of powder mix per day, mixed thoroughly in tea, fruit or vegetable juice; can be added to yoghurt, muesli, kvass, etc. to taste. After resting for a few minutes, the fibres will swell slightly, thickening the liquids.
Useful tip: for those following a one-sided diet, the intake of high doses of dietary fibre from a variety of sources may cause temporary bloating and increased gas formation. In this case, halve the recommended daily intake for the first few days while your body gradually gets used to it. Active ingredients per daily dose (5 g of Fibre-Mix):
Inulin: 3000 mg
Bamboo fibre: 500 mg
Glucomannan: 475 mg
